Products and regulations
ECE
For motorcycle exhaust systems, compliance with United Nations Regulation ECE-R92 signifies that the product has met stringent international standards for non-original replacement exhaust silencing systems (RESS) applicable to motorcycles, mopeds, and three-wheeled vehicles. This ensures both performance and safety while adhering to environmental regulations.
For car exhaust systems, adherence to United Nations Regulation ECE-R59 indicates that the product meets the global criteria for replacement silencing systems, ensuring that it is both effective and environmentally responsible.
ABE
Compliance with the German Type Approval, as outlined in paragraph 20 of the StVZO, means that the product has undergone rigorous testing and quality assurance in Germany. This certification is often recognized in other European countries and is a mark of high quality and safety standards.
These certifications not only affirm the quality and safety of the product but also facilitate easier import and export procedures, making them highly valuable for both consumers and distributors.
EPA
Compliance with the EPA noise standard, as outlined in the United States Code of Federal Regulations, Title 40, Chapter I, Part 205, Subpart E (80 dBA), indicates that the product meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's stringent noise control standards. This is crucial for products intended for use in the United States and ensures that they adhere to federal noise pollution guidelines.
EC
Adherence to the European Union Directive EC 97/24 or the European Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No. 134/2014, supplementing Regulation No. 168/2013 (EU) of the European Parliament and of the Council, signifies that the product meets European standards for safety and environmental impact. The attached EC type approval document in the package and available on the product website serves as proof of this compliance, making it essential for products sold within the European Union.
SA
Meeting the USAD Forest Service Standard for spark arresters FS5100-1 means that the product complies with U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service requirements for spark arresters. This is particularly important for off-road and forested areas, as it helps to minimize the risk of forest fires.
These certifications not only validate the product's quality, safety, and environmental responsibility but also ease the process of importation and distribution, adding value for both consumers and business partners.
California Proposition 65 Warning
Please be advised that some of our products may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
For those who reside in California, please note that we are providing this warning in compliance with California's Proposition 65, also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. This Act was enacted to ensure that customers are informed about potential exposure to chemicals that are known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
We take your health and safety seriously. While the risk is very low, we are required by California law to include this warning label on our products. The chemicals that may be found in our products are present in many other everyday items, and the exposure levels are far below the 'no significant risk' levels determined by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA).
